Are there times where days are just so hard? 

Are there times where you’d rather be a bard? 

A nice poem will lighten your day 

So, take your time, and relax on the bay 

But if you don’t believe this 

And if you just really just miss 

The nice, cozy bliss 

Of never saying “ouch” 

When you’re on a big, comfortable couch 

 

2.Winter times; a haiku 

Winter times are cold 

Winter chills me to my core 

No winter, no peace

A book on the chair 

A sweet scent in silenced air 

This is my fable

A massive boom shakes the earth 

 A quake when you were drawing near the hearth  

Your page is ruined, or so you think 

 Then you see, on dawn’s brink 

A work of beauty, a majestic mink

Sweet, sour, bitter 

Savory, salty, delish
